NOR THE GOLDEN RULE
I spent a lifetime “tracking the details” of America’s divergent, political paths… Right-Wing Republicans vs Left Wing Liberals, and an occasional Independent (remember Ross Perot). Deft, quick and coordinated, I spent another lifetime in Courtrooms, taking the wind out of, and exposing the “endless distractions” of America’s, overwhelming, legal bombast of Sound & Fury. And, now, a third lifetime… exposing the never-ending, political nonsense and finger-pointing cacophonies of “he-said, she said, they-said” distractions, intimidations, accusations, allegations and insinuations. After surviving 43 years a Trial Lawyer, I finally found the time to write about that, overwhelming bombast and those, overwhelming distractions of the American, political scene… hopefully, with a sense of clarity that is well within the grasp of the common man and the forgotten woman who, once upon a time, inhabited the lower, middle-class, neighborhoods of my Detroit youth.
But, what chance has the rest of the world to figure out (as Shakespeare says)… whether it may all be just a tale told by an Idiot Pinocchio, full of Sound and Fury, but signifying nothing ??? What chance do we Americans have to figure out and understand the state of American politics today (in 2026) ??? What chance to figure out Left vs Right, Right vs Wrong and Truth vs Lies ??? in America’s, daily, “rat-a-tat, tat”… political machine-gun attack ??? The Answer ???` Measure everything and everybody against two, long-standing, truth-seeking yardsticks of humanity.
#1. Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Example.
Pinocchio tells us he is going after Venezuela’s President Maduro because of drugs. Yet, his actions belie that lie. Pinocchio talks the talk by painting himself as America’s Savior and Drug Crusader (in the war on drugs)… while (at the very same time) Pinocchio is pardoning numerous drug dealers from Chicago to Central America– including Juan Orlando Hernández (past President of the Honduras) convicted in an American Courtroom and sentenced to 45 years for conspiring to import massive amounts of cocaine (hundreds of tons) into the United States. As Presidente Hernández would now say to a “winking” Pinocchio… “Mucho Gracias, Señor Pinocchio.” As Pinocchio would now say to a subservient Hernández, “Now, Mr. Presidente… I own you and you will march to the beat of my drum.”
Bottom line. Pinocchio’s claim of World-Wide, drug enforcement agent is just a pretext, just the usual lies from America’s Pinocchio in Chief. Lies to distract America from Pinocchio’s, phony, “Chicken Hawk” persona. Where were you, Pinocchio Chicken-Hawk when America needed you in Vietnam. Bunions ??? Bone Spurs ??? Oh, I see. But, let me ask you, Pinocchio, weren’t you just a rich kid whose Father paid for a Doctor’s note so you didn’t have to fight for your country, like those other “suckers” (as you, so Patriotically, call ‘em) ???
Ditto for Pinocchio’s threat to start shooting up Iran for their harsh treatment of Iranian, street protestors… while, at the very same time, ICE kills Renee Good (a Mother of three young kids) and Pinocchio & Friends (J.D. Vance, Kristi Noem and other Pinocchio sycophants) call Renee Good… a leftist, Domestic Terrorist (within hours of her death) and then cancel any investigation (into her death)… while, all the while, Pinocchio and Friends continue to sing the praises of a divisive Charlie Kirk and tell the rest of America, “You shall not speak ill of Charlie Kirk, or we are coming after you.” Great diversion by Pinocchio & Friends to take on the mantle of the Red Queen and create an alternative reality to fit Pinocchio’s everyday, narcissistic narrative.
#2. The Golden Rule.
Example.
Pinocchio & friends (Peter Hegseth, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, et al)… all approve of Bully America being Judge, Jury and Executioner and blowing up boat loads of people off the coast of Venezuela rather than stopping the boats, searching the boats and questioning the people in the boats, and then (if the evidence is there) charge ’em. No, it’s the Death Penalty first and “undisclosed” justification second… after the body parts are floating all over the Caribbean Sea. How, does that action measure up with the Golden Rule concept of “the sanctity of human life” ???
That question answers itself. Pinocchio, a self-proclaimed, “right to life” proponent disregards the sanctity of human life and blows up boat after boat. What’s that you say ??? Based on unseen, American Intelligence ??? Would that be the same, American intelligence that killed thousands of American soldiers and thousands upon thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens… after America invaded and tried to take over Iraq in Gulf War II ??? All on the “flawed” intelligence that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction (a lie) and that Saddam was the mastermind behind 9/11 (another lie). Besides… “intelligence” gathering is not the last step in the guilt or innocent equation. Intelligence gathering is but the first step. The trial and subsequent appeals (that the Caribbean Sea wayfarers never had)… is the last step in finding guilt and then (perhaps) administering the death penalty. Perhaps, not.
Is it any wonder that I see an America the Great (devoid of Allies, except for Netanyahu the Butcher and a “captive” Zelensky in the Ukraine)… repeat, that I see an America the Great being ruined by a sociopathic Pinocchio and his hard-right enablers, MAGA, America First and Right-Wing Christianity.
There you go !!! In all the lying, bombast and confusion of “he said, she said, they said”… I say… measure everything by (1) actions speak louder than words and (2) the Golden Rule of the Man in Sandals (He who, in his day, would have “not so gently” thrown Pinocchio and his money changers out of the America Temple of “Crony Capitalism”).
