The Sleepless Ghost of Mad, George the III

 

What could be better than sharing America’s 250 birthday with Great Britain’s Mad, King George III ? “What’s that you say” ? No, you’re wrong. Mad, King George III, ain’t dead. I just read today’s 5/13/2026 Detroit News (Trump shares post calling for Obama’s arrest). As you can see from that article, Mad, King George III (masquerading as American President, Donald Trump) was busy, busy, busy over a 10 hour period of insomnia (from 10:P.M. on Monday, May 11th to 8: A.M. on Tuesday, May 12th) receiving and “sharing and reposting” a flurry of Truth Social posts with his, sleepless MAGA, White Supremacist buddies. The posts ranged far and wide, all over the maddening landscape of Mad, King George III. One “shared” post called for the arrest of Obama “for treachery, treason and seditious conspiracy to overthrow the United States.” Wonder why that MAGA, post-person did not mention a word of Donald Trump freeing two convicted, White Supremacists from their 20-plus year sentences for “seditious conspiracy” for the invasion of the Capitol Building on January 6th (Yale lawyer, Stewart Rhodes of the Oath Keepers and Enrique Tarrio of the Proud Boys).

When Mad, George III wasn’t preoccupied with Obama, he was attacking New York Times, “low life reporter,” David Fahrenthold, for “truthfully” (as in “Truth” Social) reporting that the $1.8 million cost to repaint the Lincoln Memorial pool blue was now $13.1 million. Finishing with a kingly flurry of war games (and anachronisms), Mad, King George III (as he was wont to do in spirit in America 250 years ago) apparently showed some AI images of the U.S. military shooting down Iranian planes and boats, all the while showing a chart inferring the Iran war was over and done and won, in six weeks.

Ironic, no ?. As we Americans are about to celebrate our 250th birthday, that reference to the Iran war is exactly how Mad, King George won the Revolutionary War of 250 years ago against the Colonists (in just six weeks) this very year. Let’s give up for Mad, King George III and his MAGA playmates of insomnia. Hey, doesn’t insomnia cause schizophrenia ? Just asking.
